THE PERSON BEHIND THE PARTIES
Hello, I'm Eleni.
I'm the founder of Parties with Asterakia. Growing up in Cyprus, I discovered my love of music at seven, when I started learning the piano. At eighteen, I went to study Music at Aix-Marseille I University in southern France. Four years later, I moved to London for a Master's in Performance at Kingston University, before working as a professional opera singer in London and across Europe.
As a Music Coordinator, I have taught children aged 0–11 in schools and children's centres. I also created a playgroup that brings Greek language learning together with music, drama, art and games, a series of children's concerts with live instruments and original songs, and the YouTube channel Asterakia with Eleni. In 2022, I launched Parties with Asterakia, bringing that love of music and imagination to celebrations for children aged 0–12.

About Asterakia
An award-winning fun music, movement and drama class which enables each child to learn the Greek language and experience their Greek heritage. At Asterakia we offer a range of age-related classes aimed at children starting from 2 months old up to the age of 7. Asterakia themes are a blend of everyday life with references to modern and age-old Greek customs. Every lesson is a unique adventure for our Asterakia (Little star's) as they use the medium of role play and the power of their imagination.
